Zenith for dental

The front desk call nobody has time for, answered.

A dental front desk is checking a patient out, answering an insurance question and taking a call at once. Zenith takes the calls that can be taken: new patients booked into an open slot, recalls scheduled, reschedules made in the practice system. Treatment and billing questions go to your team with the patient already identified.

Patient context

Who is calling, from the practice system.

Once the caller is matched and verified, the person who answers sees what the practice system knows.

01

Next appointment

Date, time and provider.

02

Recall due

Which recall, and since when.

03

Last visit

When, and with which provider.

04

Balance after insurance

What the patient owes, shown to your team, never read out before verification.

05

New or existing

So a new patient gets the intake questions and an existing one does not.

06

Reviews left

What they said about the practice last time.

Patient privacy

Patient details stay off the text thread.

01

Nothing clinical by text

Texts confirm a time and a location. Treatment, conditions and balances are not sent by text.

02

Verified first

Appointment details are shared on a call only after the caller is matched and verified.

03

Agreement first

Dental workspaces are set up under a business associate agreement before a practice goes live.

On its own, and where it stops

Zenith handles the routine. Your people handle the rest.

Zenith books new patients, schedules recalls and moves appointments on its own. Same-day pain calls go to the front desk, billing and insurance questions are transferred to your team, and any low review waits for a person.

Zenith answers, routes, books and handles routine questions on its own. Refunds, discounts, complaints, low reviews and campaigns wait for a person, and anyone on your team can take over a conversation at any time.

Your dataThe voice model carries the spoken conversation and nothing else. Your customer records stay in your own database, read only by your own agents.

Start here, keep the foundation

Start with one function. Add the rest without starting over.

Most practices start with after-hours and overflow calls, because those are the new patients who otherwise call the next office on the list. The appointments and recalls Zenith reads from the practice system are then ready for recall outreach and for asking patients for a review after a visit.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Is Zenith HIPAA compliant?

We do not describe Zenith with that label. What we do is concrete: patient details are not sent by text, appointment details are shared only after the caller is verified, and dental workspaces are set up under a business associate agreement before a practice goes live.

Does it book straight into our practice system?

Yes. Appointments are written to the practice system and read back before the patient hears they are booked, so the schedule your team works from is the one Zenith booked into.

Can it tell a patient what they owe?

Only once the patient is verified, and only if you turn that on. By default, billing questions are transferred to your team with the balance already on their screen.

What does it do with a dental emergency?

It never gives clinical advice. It takes the details and sends the call to the front desk straight away, or books the emergency slot you hold open, by your rule. After hours, it gives the instructions you have written for that case.

How does recall outreach work?

Zenith reads the recalls due from the practice system and drafts the outreach. Your team approves the campaign before it goes out, and patients who reply are booked into the hygiene schedule.

Which practice systems does Zenith work with?

Open Dental and Dentrix. The connection is set up for your practice and checked against your own schedule before calls go live.

Can patients still reach a person?

Always. Asking for a person reaches the front desk or a callback, and anyone on your team can take over a call or a thread at any time.
